Woodhill Sands, the Spring Season ends, Summer Season begins....
It may be the end of the Spring season and everything mother nature has had to throw at us, the school camp we had visit us for few days at Woodhill last week has hopefully seen the last deluge of ran that proved too much for even their most strident 4wd; but the weather feels like and it has turned for the better and we can start to focus on our Summer agenda.
Next week, we are straight into action with our first Summer GP event in conjunction with partners Fiber Fresh.
The number of competing riders is looking good as each gets themselves and their mounts prepared.
Behind the scenes, the work to finalise our obligations of the resource consent continues; this too has struggled with the weather, and some flooding issues have meant delays in some areas. You will soon see, though, that some vehicular road upgrades are scheduled to start on the 6th of October for two weeks. Those who access the venue mid-week should check with the team or me to ensure they don’t have a wasted trip and can access the venue. Weekend access, I am assured, is not impacted, although there may be some extra bumps to navigate during the work period.
